Martyn Ashton rips it up on adaptive MTB

I’ve been following the guys from GMBN for quite a while now. Their Youtube channel is a great repository of riding tips, gear tips ToDo’s and really accesible great content. They just came out with this new video showing world clas trial biker Martyn Ashton riding the trail again after recuperating from a spinal injury during trials demo in 2013 leaving him paralyzed from the waist down. This video shows him on his especially adapted Mountainbike,  a Mojo Nicolai Geometron, ripping the trail with his friends Danny MacAskill, Chris Akrigg and Blake Samson. Really cool and inspirational stuff. Reminds me of GearLimits and personal friend KJ van der Klooster, a duct Paralympic Skier who suffered a similar injury as a snowboarder only to win the X-games in 2008 on a monoski. For our dutch readers: check out the dubbel interview we did with this amazing athlete. Part 1 and Part 2. It’s amazing what the human spirit can endure, and how sports helps lift people up. I’ve been lucky enough to come across that a number of times. Amazing. Great stuff, thanks for the video! Makes me smile. If you can’t get enough, just google the guy: amazing stuff or read this interview with Martyn Ashton by Cycling Tips.
