Ultrarunner Kilian Jornet doet ff Mount Olympos

De film is al van een tijdje terug, (3 jaar maar liefst) maar maakt nog steeds indruk op me. Kilian Jornet, een baskische ultrarunner die de Olympos (3500 meter) in Griekenland op en af rent. Stukken waar je normaal gezekerd en met zware bergschoenen omhoog schuifelt doet hij alsof hij de trap op loopt. Mooi moment in de film (op 3:21) als hij effe zijn tijd checkt, 5 uur, 19 minuten en 45 seconden; maar geen spoor van vermoeidheid. Maar goed, je hebt het over iemand die in 2010 de Transperenaica (800 km in 8 dagen) rende, en in 2014 drievoudig wereldkampioen werd in skyrunning, ultrarunning en de verticale kilimeter. Check ook maar eens zijn site en de gear die hij aanprijst daar.
