Afgelopen donderdag 24 oktober jl. is in Amsterdam – aan de Rozengracht – de tweede Fjällräven en Hanwag Brandstore geopend. Na New York is Amsterdam de stad waar Fjällräven en Hanwag samen een winkel openden.

Beide merken zijn in Nederland erg populair. In de brandstore Amsterdam komen de merkbeleving en de lange, rijke historie van de twee merken maximaal tot hun recht. Tevens zijn Fjällräven en Hanwag in staat hun complete actuele collecties te presenteren. Ook de mensen achter Fjällräven en Hanwag waren aanwezig, zoals o.a. Fjällräven CEO Martin Axelhed en Hanwag Hoofd Marketing & Sales, Jürgen Siegwarth.

Kenth Fjellborg verzorgde een presentatie over de Polar Expeditie. Vanaf 14 november wordt hiervoor de inschrijving geopend. Hieruit worden twintig avontuurlijke mensen uit alle hoeken van de wereld gekozen. Met weinig tot geen ervaring in extreme weersomstandigheden, krijgen zij de kans van hun leven. Vergezeld van tientallen sledehonden maken ze samen een 330 kilometer lange trektocht door de Arctische toendra. Onderstaand een foto-impressie van openingsavond van de brandstore.
