Kitesurfer Nick Jacobsen Springt van Huis Richard Branson

Er zijn kitesurfers en kitesurfers. Wind is hoofdzaak, maar wat ze daarmee uithalen verschilt. Nick Jacobsen gat daarbij altijd wat verder. Hij springt van het dak van het huis van miljardair Richard Branson op diens Necker Island in de Caraïbische zee. Jacobsen sprong op ruim 40 meter boven zeeniveau vanaf het dak van het Great House van Branson. Hij legde vervolgens ruim 166 meter af voordat hij veilig landde in zee. Daarbij vloog hij ook nog eens 100 meter over land, inclusief een stuk jungle en een kabelbaan.
Jacobsen deed al eerder dergelijk kite-stuns door van een een kraan te springen in Zuid-Afrika. Volgens Branson is de durfal nu van plan om een sprong te maken van ruim 300 meter van het bekende Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai.
