Kenny Belaey de Slackline Biker

De biker die het heeft gepresteerd om boven een klip in de Franse Alpen te balanceren op een slackline is Kenny Belaey. De uit België afkomstige Belaey is trial bike Wereldkampioen en haalde recent een bronzen plak op het wereldkampioenschap UCI in Andorra.

Slackline Biker

Na meer dan een jaar voorbereiding en zes maanden van intensieve training flikte hij het: hij fietste over een slackline van 18 meter lang en nog geen vijf centimeter breed boven een klif van 112 meter op een hoogte van 2700 meter, midden in de Franse Alpen. Hij bewijst dat hij perfect in balans is op zijn fiets. Hieronder vind je de making of video. Hierin is te zien dat het letterlijk (gezekerd) vallen en opstaan is om op een slackline te leren fietsen. Belaey gaf het bijna op, maar heeft doorgezet.
