Is de Peli Storm iM2600 Case geschikt voor drones?

As the owner of several DJI drones, I sought a sturdy and reliable case to protect and easily transport my valuable equipment. After some research, I came across the Peli Storm Case iM2600, known for its durability and versatility. The DJI Mavic Air 2S and the DJI Mavic 3 with all accessories should fit here.

The Peli Storm Case iM2600 is undoubtedly not cheap, but the price is justified, given its durability and versatility. In this case, you get your money’s worth as it will last years and keep your drones safe. If you’re investing in quality DJI drones, it’s also worth investing in an excellent case to protect them.

Sustainability of the Peli Storm iM2600

One of the main features I looked for in a suitcase was durability. I wanted to ensure my drones were safely protected, even in rough conditions. The Peli Storm Case iM2600 has not disappointed me. The rugged exterior is strong HPX polymer that can withstand bumps, drops and extreme temperatures. In addition, the case is waterproof and resistant to rust and corrosion. I have taken the case with me during various outdoor activities, and my drones have always remained safe and undamaged.

Versatility

What I also appreciated about the Peli Storm Case iM2600 is its versatility. The case inside has pre-cut foam blocks that can be easily adapted to the shape of the DJI drones and accessories. This ensures that everything stays firmly in place during transport.

Plus, there’s plenty of room to carry extra batteries, propellers, and other essentials. Whether you have a DJI Phantom, Mavic or Spark, this case suits different models. There are different types of ‘inlays’ available for the iM2600. I use the case for drones, but it is also ideal for photo, video, film or hi-fi equipment. Possibilities galore.

Transport

An important aspect for me was that the suitcase had to be easy to carry during my (outdoor) activities. The Peli Storm Case iM2600 has an ergonomic handle and a lightweight design, making it comfortable to hold and easy to carry.

Design

Although looks are not the most crucial aspect when selecting a (drone) case, I still wanted one that looked professional and robust. The Peli Storm Case iM2600 has a sleek and streamlined design with a black colour and subtle branding details. Not only does it look good, but it also gives a sense of confidence that my equipment is well protected.

Final thoughts

I am delighted with the Peli Storm Case iM2600 as a protective and portable solution for my DJI drones. The case is highly durable, versatile in use, easy to transport and has a professional look. Although the price is high (€ 295-), I think the offered quality justifies it. If you’re looking for a reliable case to protect and transport your drones or other equipment, I highly recommend the Peli Storm Case iM2600.
