As outdoor enthusiasts, we understand the importance of reliable gear that can withstand the rigors of the trail. The Fjällräven Vidda Pro Lite Trousers, in their dark grey colourway, are a perfect combination of durability, functionality, and comfort.

Designed to tackle rugged terrain with ease, I put these trousers to the test during my recent excursion through the North Holland dune reserve, were they an provided excellent performance every step of the way.

Fit & Comfort

The first thing that struck me about the Fjällräven Vidda Pro Lite Trousers was their exceptional fit and comfort. Crafted from Fjällräven’s G-1000 Lite fabric, these trousers offer a tailored fit that allows for unrestricted movement, essential for navigating challenging terrain. The articulated knees further enhance flexibility, ensuring that I could climb, scramble, and hike with ease.

Despite their robust construction, the Vidda Pro Lite Trousers are surprisingly lightweight, making them ideal for long-distance treks where every ounce counts. The fabric’s breathability kept me cool and comfortable, even during strenuous ascents, while its wind and water-resistant properties provided protection against the elements. The weather conditions were excellent for the hike so I was not able to put the water resistance to the test but the use of G1000 fabric is well known for its water resistance and ability to become water repellent with the application of Greenland Wax.
