Snowboard Review DC Telegraph 2018 – Lady’s board

DC-Telegraph-Header
The DC Telegraph is a women’s specific snowboard with an elegant yet bold graphic design, in which the beautiful wood grain in particular places the aesthetics of that board at a higher level. That’s a slightly pedantic way of say the DC Telegraph is a good looking board for tough ladies. This is also reflected in the shape of the board. A classic camber where the 100% wooden board gives you a lot of grip and stability, as long as you put enough power into the board. The board does have a medium flex (so reasonably flexible) is not a very stiff camber, and is a true twin, so you can ride it both directions in a easy, nice and relaxed way. Het board is te koop in maten 144, 148 en 152 centimeter.

The Review

According to Dees (66 kilo’s, 175cm, lady)

Dees thought the Telegraph was a really nice board. She has a preference for classic camber boards (although Dees also said she could appreciate rockers) because they provide grip, stability and confidence to a rider. It handles higher speeds really well, and if you put the board on the edge then you can really carve groomers to a fault. A board to hit the piste, and with a camber you can also send it on kickers in the park and land with stability. Playing around on the piste, dive into a bit of powder; the Telegraph is OK with everything.

Conclusion

A very nice board that fitted Dees’ riding style really well. A nice strong all-mountain board. You have to be able to make a good turn before you can feel what the Telegraph has to offer, so no beginners board but one for the intermediate to advanced rider.
