The Casio G-Shock Mudmaster Limited Edition

For winter and outdoor sport, Casio has now launched a G-Shock Limited Edition model, the MUDMASTER GG-1000BTN-1A. This clock is the third result of the collaboration between Casio and Burton, who entered the brands in 2013 when the G-SHOCK existed for thirty years. Burton is one of the world’s most famous snowboard brands. The brand has helped ensure that snowboarding from a hobby has grown into a global professional sport. In the watch, carriers find the legendary product quality and focus on the outdoor world of Burton. This in combination with the versatility and robust characteristics of G-SHOCK. “G-SHOCK has been a great partner for Burton for years. We are therefore honoured to make a watch in honour of their 35th anniversary, “said Greg Dacyshyn, Creative Director at Large for Burton. “Working together with Casio G-SHOCK is always a nice and dynamic process because it gives us a lot of artistic freedom. This time we went for a classic utilitarian vibe with duck camo prints and striking orange accents. The result is a great watch that is suitable for both outdoor and urban adventures. “On the back of the timepiece, you will also find Burton’s ethos engraved:” No bad trips “.
The MUDMASTER GG-1000BTN-1A is part of the popular G-SHOCK Master or G-series and contains the twin sensor technology of G-SHOCK, including digital compass and thermometer. The watch is also mud and dust resistant, making it very suitable for use in heavy, snowy areas on the slopes. To celebrate the collaboration, a video was made that shows some of Burton’s favourite moments on the road, underlining his motto ‘No bad trips’ again. The watch is equipped with standard G-SHOCK technology, such as shock resistance and water resistance up to 200 meters. It also has an automatic super illuminator LED lamp, world time (with 31 time zones in 48 cities and UTC), four daily alarms and a snooze alarm, a 1/100th second stopwatch and countdown timer, just like a 12/24 hour format – all in a 55.3 millimetre large cabinet.
