Garmin has just launched its new smartwatches – the fenix 5 Plus series. The Fenix 5S Plus, Fenix 5 Plus and Fenix 5X Plus are just like the previous fenix 5 smartwatches designed for sports and outdoor and are extended with top cards, music, Garmin Pay and Pulse Ox saturation measurement on the wrist (Pulse Ox only on fenix 5X Plus). These smartwatches are not just for mountaineers, athletes and outdoor enthusiasts but also for urbanturers. The fenix 5X Plus is the first Garmin wearable with a Pulse Ox sensor. This sensor measures the oxygen saturation in the blood on the wrist, which can be essential for high-altitude activities. During a tough climb, from time to time, you can check how well the body adjusts to the rarefied air. Every size sports watch from the Plus series has Garmin Pay for contactless payment. The fenix 5 Plus can also be personalised with self-selected widgets, data fields, dials and apps. Or connect the smartwatch to a suitable smartphone to keep up-to-date with your latest calls, text messages, e-mails and all ins and outs on social media. The Fenix 5 Plus series is available in the store mid-June 2018. The retail prices range from € 699.99 to € 1,149.99. More information about the Garmin fenix 5 series can be found here
