Stijn is een skiër, buitenman, houtwerker, kunstenaar, liefhebber van koffie en nog veel meer. Vooral als je koffie uit handgemaakte houten koffiebekers drinkt, bekers die in Lapland een “Kuksa” wordt genoemd. The third chapter in our series with and about Bergans of Norway bring us to the woodworking cabin of Stijn van Oss, Ambassador of Bergans of Norway in the Netherlands.
Stijn is a skiër, outdoorsman, woodworker, painter, lover of coffee. Especially when you drink them out of hand-made wooden coffee cups. In Lapland these wooden cups are called “Kuksa”. In this episode, Stijn takes us through the steps of making such a cup, as we prepare for a micro adventure in the Belgian Ardennes.
Not in the movie, but very much worth a mention is that Stijn produced a line of porcelain cups, for ristretto, espresso and cappuccino. Very cool stuff you can read more about here.
